Passant Wallpaper
Craftsmanship and art inspiration characterise the ARTIST collection. We have used various art historical techniques to bring them to your walls. The collage technique is popular, as it brings together found motifs and materials and provides a completely new image that spreads its own mood.
At the beginning of the 20th century, artists such as Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque glued newspaper clippings, photos, torn papers and wallpaper patterns onto their figurative or cubist paintings (hence the term). Collage became its own style when it was freed from the pictorial aspect and from then on it stood on its own.
The COLLAGE design has transcended the past and represents the hygge feeling of our time. Coated papers were torn by hand and then the strips of different colours were put together. Spontaneous overlaps and upward-swept areas provide a natural appearance. It almost looks as if there is fine tree bark on the non-woven wallpaper. It dresses every wall in a completely natural way – and in 3 different colours: from restrained Pastel to powerful Multi to refreshing Green, in which the cleverly placed indoor plants can almost immerse themselves.
