HOW TO MEASURE

NIGHT AND DAY

1. HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH

The first thing we have to identify is the position of our window or door to make a correct measurement.

1. HOW TO MEASURE THE WIDTH

1.1 Space on both sides

If your window has space on both sides, we recommend adding 7 cm to each side.

1.2 With space on one side only

If your window is only on one side against the wall, we recommend that you add 7 cm, but have space on the side.

1.3 Between walls

If the window is as wide as the walls, subtract at least 1 cm of width on each side, to be able to fit them between walls correctly.

1.4 Corner windows

The first thing we have to check is if the windows have space on only one side or if it is between walls.

We add the calculation explained above and write down the two results.

-Space on one side: 150+7=157 cm

-Between walls: 150-0.5-0.5=149 cm

1.5 Corner windows

The first thing we have to check is if the windows have space on only one side or if it is between walls. We add the calculation explained above and write down the 2 results. Next we decide which of the two blinds will go over the other and we subtract 12 cm. Therefore, blind 2 is the one that will go over.

-Single side space: 150+7=157cm

-Space on one side and passes over:150+7-12=145 cm

2. How to measure height

The first thing we have to identify is the type of installation to make a correct measurement.

2.1 Wall installation

We measure and write down the height measurement of our window or door. We recommend adding 15 or 20 cm to the top. If it is a window, we will also add an additional 10 cm to the bottom.

Window: 150+15+10= 175 cm.

Door: 240+15= 255 cm.

2.1 Ceiling installation

We measure and write down the height measurement from the ceiling to the bottom of the blind. If it is a window, we will add an additional 10 cm to the bottom.

Window: 190+10= 200 cm.

Door: 250 cm.
