Not only nature has always served as inspiration for visual artists. The natural sciences, with their precise descriptions of the world in abstract thoughts and forms, could also inspire them. The beauty and simplicity of geometric shapes are often found in those abstract image compositions that are particularly 20th century. The Bauhaus designers even elevated the circle, the triangle and the rectangle to the basic construction kit of their reduced universe.

Free dance of shapes and colors
Semicircles and squares coated in pasty colours overlap in an expressive design. Standing out clearly from the neutral background, they form a field of tension between each other. In contrast to the freely dancing shapes, the colour applied with the brush is thick, giving the paper-like surfaces a structure that provides a 3D effect, especially at the overlapping points. This effect is further enhanced by the use of a special fleece with a special look.
GEOMETRIC is one of 10 selected designs from the ARTIST collection, which once again focuses on the technical refinement and manufacturing quality of Hohenberger wallcoverings. The healthy non-woven wallpaper is refined with a light mica effect and is available in 4 colour variants. Bright orange embraces the room, strong black hints at depth, blue provides an oceanic feeling and homely beige decorates every wall.
